CCC Fish Oil Testing Standards 2026 | Comprehensive Comparison of the Three Key Indicators! All WHC Fish Oils Pass the CCC Standards

The market is flooded with fish oil products. No matter how attractive their packaging and marketing may be, they are not as convincing as authoritative testing standards. The strict criteria used by the Hong Kong Consumer Council to evaluate fish oil have long served as an important reference for consumers choosing health supplements. To determine whether a fish oil is "top-tier and high-quality" or "barely acceptable," the key lies in the Consumer Council's three golden dimensions of evaluation. Measured against these three strict standards, WHC from Belgium not only fully meets all quality and purity requirements but far exceeds most fish oil products on the market! Comparing the Consumer Council's Three Evaluation Criteria — A Detailed Look at the Advantages of WHC Little Thousand In past tests of fish oil products, the Consumer Council has mainly evaluated three core areas: first issafety, focusing on testing whether products contain heavy metals, contaminants, or harmful substance residues; second isnutritional value, comparing whether the actual content of Omega-3, EPA, and DHA strictly matches the product label; and finally isquality and freshness, assessing the oxidation level and stability of fish oil through indicators such as peroxide value (POV) and total oxidation value (TOTOX). Taking WHC's flagship product,Little Thousand Fish Oil, as an example, we will break down how WHC precisely meets the Consumer Council's strict requirements and demonstrates superior quality across all core indicators:   Criterion 1: Omega-3 Purity and Label Accuracy Consumer Council evaluation focus: Testing whether the actual measured content of EPA and DHA matches the packaging label to prevent "false labeling"; assessing the purity ratio of Omega-3 in the total oil content of the capsule to prevent the intake of excessive useless saturated fats. WHC comparison advantage: Taking WHC Little Thousand Fish Oil as an example, the product label states that each serving contains 1200 mg of Omega-3 (including 675 mg of EPA and 460 mg of DHA). According to the authoritative third-party testing report by IFOS, its actual measured content not only meets 100% of the requirements and exceeds the stated value, but the actual measured Omega-3 content is as high as 1278 mg.   (Latest IFOS Report for WHC UnoCardio®1000 + Vitamin D) In addition, WHC Little Thousand Fish Oil uses the highly absorbable rTG form, with Omega-3 purity exceeding 90%-95%; IFOS testing shows that the EPA/DHA content 100% meets or even exceeds the stated value, truly achieving extreme high purity and complete label accuracy. Criterion 2: Harmful Contaminants and Processing-Related Harmful Substances Consumer Council evaluation focus: Testing whether products contain heavy metals (mercury, lead, arsenic, cadmium) and persistent organic pollutants (polychlorinated biphenyls PCBs, dioxins); at the same time, paying attention to processing-related harmful substances produced during fish oil refining, such as 3-chloropropylene glycol (3-MCPD) and the carcinogen propylene oxide (propylene glycol esters). WHC comparison advantage: Taking WHC Little Thousand Fish Oil as an example, the product carefully selects wild small fish from the clean waters of Peru and Chile in South America, avoiding heavy metal accumulation at the source of the food chain; it also uses patented supercritical CO₂ extraction technology to effectively remove dioxins, PCBs, and various processing-related harmful substances. According to IFOS third-party testing data, WHC Little Thousand achieves extremely low levels or even no detection in multiple safety indicators such as heavy metals, dioxins, and PCBs, fully meeting the Consumer Council's strict requirements for food safety.   (Latest IFOS Report for WHC UnoCardio®1000 + Vitamin D) Criterion 3: Oil Freshness and Antioxidant Indicators Consumer Council evaluation focus: Calculating the total oxidation value (TOTOX) through acid value (AV), peroxide value (PV), and p-anisidine value (p-AV) to assess the freshness of the fish oil. Oxidized and deteriorated fish oil not only loses significant nutrition but also produces free radicals, which can easily trigger inflammation in the body or stomach discomfort, accompanied by a strong fishy smell. WHC comparison advantage: WHC Little Thousand Fish Oil uses a low-temperature, solvent-free patented purification technology to extremely preserve the activity of the fish oil, with excellent freshness indicators. According to authoritative third-party testing data from IFOS:Extremely low peroxide value (PV): The actual measured value is as low as 0.09 meq/kg, demonstrating excellent antioxidant stability.Total oxidation value (TOTOX) far exceeds the standard: The measured TOTOX value, which is key to assessing overall freshness, is only 3.18, far below the IFOS regulated upper limit of 19.5 (the lower the value, the fresher it is). Extremely high freshness guarantees the high quality of the fish oil, withno fishy smell and no nausea when consumed, fully meeting the Consumer Council's strict standards for "high-quality, highly fresh fish oil." Understanding WHC's Commitment to Quality Through Data  Viewed through the extremely high standards focused on by the Consumer Council, WHC fish oil has earned IFOS (International Fish Oil Standards) certification for consecutive years, proving that its purity, freshness, and safety are all at the highest international level. There is no need to guess when purchasing fish oil. WHC publicly and transparently provides a complete independent third-party testing report for every batch of products, with every piece of data "backed by data evidence," providing the most professional and reliable protection for you and your family's health! Omega-3/DHA/EPA/Fish Oil | Common Questions FAQ Q1: What exactly is Omega-3? What is the difference between EPA and DHA? A: Simply put,Omega-3 is an unsaturated fatty acid that the human body cannot synthesize on its own and must be obtained from food, while EPA and DHA are the two core components of the Omega-3 family with the greatest health value: EPA: Mainly works to promote blood circulation, maintain blood vessel elasticity, regulate cardiovascular health, and help combat inflammation in the body. DHA: Is an important component of brain nerve cells and the eye retina, helping to improve memory and concentration, and alleviate dry eyes and eye fatigue. Q2: When is the best time to take fish oil for optimal absorption? A: It is recommended to take itwith a meal or after a meal for the best results! Since fish oil contains Omega-3 fatty acids, it is afat-soluble nutrient. The oils in food can activate the digestive mechanism, helping the body absorb lipids and significantly improving the absorption rate.  Q3: Can fish oil be taken together with vitamins or other health supplements? A: Yes, but pay attention to the combination of types: Best partners (can be taken together): Fish oil is very suitable to be taken with fat-soluble nutrients (such as vitamins D3, E, K) or joint health ingredients (such as patented NEM® eggshell membrane), which complement each other to produce better synergistic effects. Recommended to take separately: If you are takingoil-binding pills (oil-blocking products), chitin, orhigh-fiber health supplements, it is recommended to take them at least2 hours apart from fish oil, to prevent these ingredients from binding with the oils and being expelled from the body, thereby reducing the absorption rate of the fish oil. 【Nutritionist Column】What is Fish Oil? A Comprehensive Guide to Omega-3, EPA, DHA, Recommended Intake, and Safety Precautions

Annabelle is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and a member of the Hong Kong Dietitians Association. She graduated from New York University with both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree, both earned with honors. With three years of clinical experience, she has worked at two top-tier private academic medical centers in New York, accumulating solid clinical nutrition care experience. She specializes in evidence-based medicine to design dietary treatment plans for patients that are truly sustainable in the long term. Fish oil is often touted as a "panacea" for heart, brain, and anti-inflammatory health, but what exactly is it? How much should you take? How should different groups choose the right fish oil? These questions often leave consumers feeling hesitant. This article will provide an in-depth look at fish oil and guide you through answering these common questions. **This article is based on information from the Centre for Food Safety in Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Consumer Council, and international organizations to clarify the role, target audience, and safety limits of fish oil. This is a health education article and does not replace personalized advice from doctors, pharmacists, or registered dietitians. Omega-3 What exactly is it? Omega-3 is a group of polyunsaturated fatty acids. These fatty acids are essential components of human cell membranes, used to maintain cell membrane health, enhance immunity, and provide raw materials for the body to synthesize important substances. They are especially vital for eye and brain health. Since the human body cannot produce sufficient amounts of Omega-3 on its own, they are considered essential fatty acids. l ALA (Alpha-linolenic acid): Primarily found in plants such as flaxseeds and chia seeds. It can be converted into EPA and DHA in the body, but the conversion rate is very low and insufficient to support daily human requirements. l EPA (Eicosapentaenoic acid): Primarily found in deep-sea fish, it helps promote cardiovascular health, regulate blood lipids, and reduce inflammatory responses. l DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid): Primarily found in deep-sea fish, it is the "building block" for the brain and retina. Common Misconception: Fish Oil ≠ Cod Liver Oil; don't get them confused! When buying supplements, many people often confuse "fish oil" with "cod liver oil," sometimes even assuming they are the same thing. Beware! The sources, ingredients, and effects of these two products are completely different. If you take large daily doses of cod liver oil as if it were fish oil, it could potentially lead to fat-soluble vitamin poisoning! Comparison Item Fish Oil Cod Liver Oil Extraction Source Muscle and fat of deep-sea fish Liver of fish Core Ingredients Omega-3 (mainly EPA and DHA) Vitamin A, Vitamin D Main Benefits Regulate internal inflammation, cardiovascular health, maintain brain agility, and vision Eye protection (preventing night blindness), bone development, general immunity boost Overdose Risk High safety High risk! Vitamins A and D accumulate in the body; excess may cause liver strain or poisoning What are the actual benefits of fish oil? Dosages and scientific evidence for pregnant women, those with high triglycerides, and daily heart health explained. Pregnant women: Because the fetus receives DHA from the mother through the placenta for brain and retinal development; DHA accumulation is particularly active during the later stages of pregnancy. The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) suggests: general adults should intake 250 mg of EPA+DHA daily; pregnant and lactating women should increase this by an additional 100–200 mg of DHA. Some studies show that pregnant women who rarely eat fish may help reduce the risk of preterm birth by increasing Omega-3 intake during pregnancy. 9 16 17 People with high triglycerides: Some studies indicate that a daily dose of 4g of prescription-grade Omega-3 (including EPA+DHA formulas or pure EPA formulations) can be used to treat specific high triglyceride conditions, but this must be assessed and monitored by a doctor.7 Daily cardiovascular health: Currently, consistent research supports incorporating fish into an overall healthy dietary pattern. Generally, healthy adults are advised to eat fish at least twice a week (about 85–150g per serving). If fish intake is usually insufficient, consider taking 250–500 mg of EPA+DHA in fish oil capsules as a dietary supplement. What is the recommended daily intake of Omega-3? The Hong Kong Centre for Food Safety recommends that the public maintain a balanced and varied diet, including moderate amounts of a variety of fish as part of a healthy diet. Healthy adults do not need to obsess over calculating the exact milligrams of EPA+DHA in every meal. A more practical approach is:Eat fish at least twice a week, rotating different types, and including one or two servings of fatty fish. The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) uses 250 mg of EPA+DHA per day as an appropriate intake for healthy adults and children to maintain general cardiovascular health.6 Many fish oil products on the market provide 500–1,000 mg or more of EPA+DHA per serving. This is primarily designed based on different target audience requirements and convenience. It does not mean that exceeding the standard recommended intake is "too much." Consumers are advised to choose whether to supplement with fish oil based on their own physical condition and dietary habits. How much is "too much"? EFSA states that there are no safety concerns for healthy adults consuming up to 5 grams of EPA+DHA daily from supplements; the US FDA also notes that dietary supplements with no more than 5 grams of EPA+DHA per day, when used as recommended, are generally considered safe.1 6 At a Glance: How to choose fish oil for different groups? For modern people, eating enough fish in their daily diet is harder than one might think. With hundreds of fish oil products on the market, all listing various ratios of EPA and DHA on their packaging, how should you choose? In fact, different lifestyles and age groups require completely different fish oil formulas. Below is a fish oil selection guide to help you understand in one minute which one is best for you or your family: Group / Situation Core Need Recommended EPA:DHA Ratio WHC Product Recommendation Healthy Adults Combat chronic inflammation, basic cardiovascular care, retinal and brain health maintenance 3:2 (The most common golden ratio) Little Thousand Gold Little Golden Egg Pregnant, Pre-conception, or Lactating individuals Baby’s brain and retinal development, mommy’s postpartum mood support DHA-rich(e.g., 1:2 or 1:3) Little Red Riding Hood School-age children and teenagers Brain development, focus, vision health DHA-rich(e.g., 1:2 or 1:3) Little Superman Little Elf High risk of "Three Highs" Cardiovascular health, lower blood lipids High EPA or pure EPA Little Angel Who needs to consult a doctor first? Contraindications and precautions for fish oil. In addition to the common groups mentioned above, if you or your family members have the following conditions, you must consult a professional physician: - Fish or seafood allergies - Currently taking anticoagulants, antiplatelets, or blood pressure medication - Bleeding tendencies, blood clotting disorders, or recent unexplained bleeding - Upcoming surgery, tooth extraction, or invasive examinations - History of atrial fibrillation or other heart rhythm issues - Late-stage pregnancy - Recipients of organ transplants, those taking immunosuppressants, or those with complex chronic diseases References 1. National Institutes of Health, Office of Dietary Supplements. 香港消委會警告高達 95% 魚油含污染物?營養師教睇「魚油認證金字塔」3 步精準避踩雷

Nutrition Information

Hong Kong Consumer Council warns that up to 95% of fish oil contains contaminants? Nutritionist shares the "Fish Oil Certification Pyramid" to help you avoid pitfalls in 3 easy steps.

When choosing fish oil supplements, what consumers worry about most is not health, but consuming contaminants. The Hong Kong Consumer Council once tested 25 commercially available fish oil supplements and found that as many as 95% of the samples contained contaminants, with over half even testing positive for carcinogens—this is not alarmist; you really need to check for authoritative certifications and ingredients before making a purchase! The Fish Oil Certification Pyramid: Which Certifications Are the Most Trustworthy? There are many fish oil certifications on the market, but their credibility can actually be judged by their tier. More labels on the packaging do not necessarily mean more safety; the higher the tier, the stricter the audit and the more open and transparent the data, allowing consumers to even verify it online themselves. Tier 1: Independent Third-Party Batch Testing (Represented by IFOS Certification) Organization and Positioning: IFOS (International Fish Oil Standards), a division of the Canadian life sciences and health product certification organization Nutrasource, is an authoritative third-party testing system independent of brands and pharmaceutical manufacturers. Core Advantage: Employs a "test every batch" mechanism rather than a one-time certification. Every new batch produced by a brand must be submitted for independent testing. Data Transparency: Refusing "black box" operations, all testing data (heavy metals, peroxide value, actual DHA/EPA concentration) is fully disclosed. Consumers can use the Lot/Batch Number on the packaging to download the report for that specific batch for free from the official website. Strict Standards: Testing standards are several times stricter than those of the World Health Organization (WHO), providing high-precision oversight for heavy metals like mercury, lead, arsenic, and cadmium, as well as carcinogens like dioxins and PCBs. It also ensures fish oil freshness through Peroxide Value (POV) and Total Oxidation Value (TOTOX). Tier 2: Industry Self-Regulation Standards (Represented by GOED Certification) Organization and Positioning: GOED (Global Organization for EPA and DHA Omega-3s) is a non-profit industry association jointly established by global Omega-3 suppliers, manufacturers, and brand owners. Core Advantage: Establishes a "Monograph" as the global gold standard for fish oil quality, setting stricter thresholds for product purity, environmental toxin limits, and oxidation indicators than most national regulations. Quality Control: Strictly limits total oxidation values to ensure the fish oil is fresh and free of rancid odors. Brands that join GOED must sign a quality pledge, ensuring products meet or exceed these standards. Tier 3: Production Process Certification (Represented by GMP, HACCP) Organization and Positioning: Quality control systems aimed at "manufacturing plants and production lines" to ensure that the production process is hygienic, standardized, and free of cross-contamination. Core Advantage: GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice): Primarily monitors plant facilities, equipment cleanliness, personnel operating procedures, and product stability, meeting the production requirements of pharmaceutical-grade or high-standard health supplements. HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points): Systematically identifies and eliminates biological, chemical, or physical hazards at every critical point from raw material procurement and processing to packaging. Relationship between the two: GMP controls "production norms and processes," while HACCP focuses on "food safety hazard control," with the two complementing each other. Tier 4: Raw Material Sustainability Certification (Represented by FOS) Organization and Positioning: FOS (Friend of the Sea) focuses on marine ecology and environmental protection. Core Advantage: Evaluates the fishing sources of fish oil raw materials, ensuring that fish come from clean waters without overfishing, are caught using eco-friendly methods that do not damage the seafloor, and maintain complete supply chain traceability, taking responsibility for the marine environment and source materials. After understanding these four tiers, you will realize that more fish oil certifications aren't necessarily better; the key lies in the "gold content" of the certification. The higher the tier, the stricter the audit and the more transparent the data, allowing consumers to verify it themselves, avoid blindly trusting brand marketing, and truly guard the safety of fish oil products. Breaking Down Five Authoritative Certifications ① IFOS Certification: The Highest Gold Standard in the Fish Oil Industry Full Name and Organization: International Fish Oil Standards (founded by the independent Canadian authoritative body, Nutrasource) Main Testing Content: Extremely rigorous sampling for every production batch, precisely monitoring five key indicators: (Latest IFOS Report for WHC UnoCardio®1000 + Vitamin D) Active Ingredients: Actual measurement of EPA and DHA content to ensure it is not lower than the label claims (actual values are typically higher than the labeled values). Purity (Environmental Toxins): High-precision testing for harmful carcinogens such as PCBs and dioxins, with extremely strict standards. Freshness Indicator: Assessing oil quality through Peroxide Value (PV) and Total Oxidation Value (TOTOX) to ensure it is fresh and not rancid or deteriorated. Heavy Metal Residues: Rigorously monitoring heavy metals such as mercury, lead, arsenic, and cadmium, with levels far superior to general food safety standards. Radioactive Substances: Strict testing for radioactive residues (such as cesium, iodine, etc.) to ensure they are well below the safety threshold, providing extreme peace of mind. WHC’s entire line of fish oil products (including high-purity adult fish oil, pure EPA fish oil, and children’s fish oil) are proactively submitted to IFOS for independent testing for every batch, passing all certifications at the highest level. IFOS testing standards are far higher than those of the WHO and FDA, assessing from four dimensions, which means the Omega-3 content in every WHC fish oil capsule is consistent with the label, and the levels of contaminants and heavy metals are far below international safety standards, with oxidation values meeting standards to maintain freshness and stability. How Consumers Can Verify: WHC fish oil products can be verified by using the Batch/Lot Number on the packaging to go directly to the IFOS Official Website WHC Section to download the complete third-party chemical analysis report for the corresponding batch for free. ② GOED Certification: The Quality Benchmark of the Fish Oil Industry Full Name and Organization: Global Organization for EPA and DHA Omega-3s Main Testing Content: Primarily focuses on three major aspects: safety (purity), quality (freshness), and authenticity (concentration): 1. Purity & Contaminants: Deep-sea fish easily accumulate marine toxins, and GOED has established pharmaceutical-grade high-standard safety thresholds: Heavy Metal Residues: Strictly limits concentrations of lead, mercury, cadmium, and arsenic. Persistent Environmental Toxins: Precision testing for dioxins, furans, and PCBs. Microbial Hygiene: Ensures zero contamination from E. coli, Salmonella, mold, etc. 2. Freshness & Oxidation: Omega-3 is extremely susceptible to oxidation and degradation when exposed to air or high temperatures. Inferior fish oil not only has a foul, fishy odor but may also be harmful to health. GOED strictly monitors three major oxidation values: Peroxide Value (PV): Evaluates the degree of primary oxidation. p-Anisidine Value (p-AV): Measures secondary oxidation to determine if the oil has gone rancid. Total Oxidation Value (TOTOX): Comprehensively evaluates overall freshness, with a limit standard far more stringent than general food regulations. 3. Potency & Active Ingredients: Addressing the common market issue of "mismatched labeling," GOED performs quantitative analysis using precision instruments: Authenticity Verification: Ensures that the actual EPA and DHA concentrations are 100% consistent with the labels on the bottles, preventing ingredient adulteration or insufficient dosages. How Consumers Can Verify: WHC has earned official authoritative GOED certification, with quality that is transparent and visible! Consumers can easily verify it through the following two methods: Check the product box: Look for the official GOED certification logo on the WHC packaging box. UnoCardio®1000 + Vitamin D Deep Sea Fish Oil Verify on the official website: You can go directly to the GOED official website to instantly verify our brand membership and manufacturing practices that meet the world’s highest quality standards. ③ FOS Certification: Focusing on Sustainability and Traceability of Fish Oil Raw Materials Full Name and Organization: Friend of the Sea (initiated by the World Sustainability Organization, WSO) Main Testing Content: Strictly audits the fishing source of fish oil raw materials, ensuring that fish are sourced from clean, unpolluted, and non-overfished waters using eco-friendly fishing methods that do not disrupt the seafloor, while maintaining full supply chain traceability (Chain of Custody). How Consumers Can Verify? WHC is committed to marine sustainability, actively protects marine ecology, and has earned the official authoritative Friend of the Sea (FOS) certification! Consumers can easily verify it through the following two methods: Check the product box: Look for the official FOS certification logo on the WHC packaging box. UnoCardio®1000 + Vitamin D Deep Sea Fish Oil Verify on the official website: You can go directly to the Friend of the Sea official website to verify our certification qualifications, ensuring that every capsule of fish oil you purchase is responsible toward the marine environment.   ④ GMP Certification: Whether Manufacturing Facilities Meet Pharmaceutical-Grade Production Standards Full Name and Organization: Good Manufacturing Practice (monitored and issued by national health regulatory bodies such as the FDA or EMA) Main Testing Content: Comprehensively standardizes the manufacturing process, including plant facility cleanliness, air filtration, equipment maintenance, personnel operating procedures, and product stability testing, to ensure that the production process is free of cross-contamination and the quality of every fish oil capsule is stable and consistent. How Consumers Can Verify: WHC’s fish oil products are produced by the world's leading German pharmaceutical manufacturer KD Pharma at a plant that meets GMP pharmaceutical-grade standards. The product packaging bears the official GMP certification mark, providing the most rigorous guarantee of quality and safety. ⑤ HACCP Certification: Systematically Identifying and Controlling Safety Hazards in Food Production Full Name and Organization: Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points Main Testing Content: Systematically identifies biological (bacteria), chemical (heavy metals/pesticides), and physical hazards at every step from raw material procurement, processing, and packaging to transportation, and establishes Critical Control Points (CCP) for real-time monitoring and prevention. How Consumers Can Verify: WHC finished fish oil products are manufactured in factories that have passed rigorous HACCP certification! Consumers can view the relevant food safety management system certifications on our official website to ensure every fish oil capsule consumed is safe and worry-free. GMP primarily controls "production norms and plant hygiene," while HACCP focuses on "food safety hazard control and prevention"—the two complement each other and are indispensable dual safety lines of defense for high-quality WHC fish oil! Fish oil products that have passed the above multiple authoritative certifications not only fully comply with strict international standards but also provide more reliable nutritional support for the body, allowing you and your family to consume them with peace of mind. [2026 Kids' Fish Oil Recommendations] The Top Omega-3 for Children's Brain Development and Vision Health

September marks the start of the school year again, and children need to readjust to a demanding learning pace. Faced with heavy schoolwork and the constant strain on their eyes from iPads, computers, and books, many parents ask: "Should I give my child fish oil?" and "With so many fish oil products on the market, how do I choose one that truly helps with brain development and eye protection?" There are many types of children's fish oil on the market, such as soft capsules, gummies, and liquid forms. This time, a nutritionist will break down the key benefits of Omega-3 for children's growth and 4 selection principles, helping you easily choose a safe and effective nutritional supplement that your child will love! Why do children need Omega-3 supplementation? The importance of DHA and EPA Omega-3 is an essential fatty acid that the human body cannot produce on its own and must be obtained through diet (such as deep-sea fish) or nutritional supplements. For children in their golden developmental stage, DHA and EPA in Omega-3 play crucial roles: 1. DHA: The golden element for a flexible brain and bright eyes DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) is an important component of brain nerve cells and the retinal cells of the eyes. Brain development and learning ability: Adequate DHA helps improve children's learning efficiency, concentration, and mental agility. Vision development and eye protection: In an era where digital learning is prevalent, DHA provides nutrients for the eyes, relieves fatigue from prolonged screen time, and maintains bright and healthy vision. 2. EPA: A good helper for metabolic circulation and emotional stability EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) mainly promotes body circulation and regulates body constitution. Studies show that adequate EPA helps maintain bodily functions and positively aids children's emotional stability and learning concentration. 2026 Children's Fish Oil: 4 Key Selection Principles Choosing children's fish oil should not just be about cute packaging. The following 4 indicators are crucial for determining absorption rate and safety: Transparent ingredients: Ensure the product clearly states the golden ratio of EPA and DHA, guaranteeing pure ingredients without excessive impurities. Safety certification: With increasing marine pollution, it is essential to choose products that have passed international authoritative certifications (such as IFOS 5-star certification) to ensure no heavy metal (mercury, lead) or plasticizer residues. Suitable taste: Choose a product with a mild, non-fishy taste that is easy to swallow or chew, so children will be willing to take it daily. Age appropriateness: Select the appropriate dosage and form according to the child's age and swallowing ability to maximize nutritional benefits. 2026 Children's Fish Oil Recommendation: WHC UnoCardio® CHEWY Kids Chewable Fish Oil To meet the criteria of "high absorption rate," "safe ingredients," and "kids willing to eat it," the nutritionist particularly recommends this popular choice that meets all these high standards—WHC UnoCardio® CHEWY Kids Chewable Fish Oil!  WHC UnoCardio® CHEWY Kids: Delicious, sugar-free, no fishy taste: Kids will love the tropical fruit flavor, with no sugar and no fishy taste, making every day a happy dose! Sunburnt and sensitive in summer? New summer skincare trend: "Quadruple Omega Formula" for anti-inflammatory and whitening effects, inside and out!

Every summer, strong UV rays, hot and humid weather, coupled with drastic temperature changes when going in and out of air-conditioned rooms, always put our skin to the test. Have you also noticed that in summer, skin not only easily gets tanned and sunburnt, but also problems such as sensitive redness, crazy breakouts, and oil-water imbalance follow? Traditional topical skincare products often only address the symptoms. To thoroughly solve summer skin crises, the top skincare trend in 2026 is "Inside-out Beauty"! By supplementing with the scientifically proven "4-in-1 Omega Golden Formula," which injects anti-inflammatory and repairing energy from within the body, you can truly achieve "white moonlight" flawless skin that radiates from the inside out. Why is skin prone to problems in summer? "Chronic inflammation" is the culprit! When skin is exposed to ultraviolet (UV) radiation or high temperature stimulation, the body produces a large number of free radicals, which in turn trigger a "chronic inflammation" response in the skin. This not only accelerates melanin precipitation, leading to tanned and spotted skin, but also damages the skin barrier, causing moisture loss and excessive oil secretion. Therefore, the two core keys to summer skincare are: anti-inflammation and antioxidation. And in recent years, the core ingredient that has attracted much attention in the beauty industry is complex Omega fatty acids. Unlock the Skin Code! Discover the Super Skincare Benefits of "4-in-1 Omega" Most people only know about the health benefits of fish oil capsules, but they don't know that different types of Omega fatty acids combined together can have powerful synergistic effects on the skin. Here's how these four golden ingredients work together to rescue summer skin: 🔹 Omega-3 | Anti-inflammatory breakout nemesis, calms menstrual fluctuations Benefits: Omega-3 has excellent natural anti-inflammatory effects, inhibiting the production of pro-inflammatory factors from the inside out, effectively alleviating summer breakouts and sensitive redness. Added Value: It can also help calm anxiety and relieve menstrual pain in women, serving as an invisible guardian for maintaining women's physical and mental balance during menstruation. 🔹 Omega-6 (GLA) | Balances hormones, stabilizes skin from the source Benefits: Omega-6 mainly comes from precious vegetable oils (such as borage oil), and its rich GLA (gamma-linolenic acid) can effectively regulate hormone balance in women. Beauty Physiology: Many adult women's "chin acne" or "menstrual breakouts" are related to hormonal fluctuations. GLA can stabilize skin from the source and prevent periodic skin deterioration. 🔹 Omega-7 (Sea Buckthorn Oil) | Repairs skin barrier, says goodbye to oily skin Benefits: Omega-7 is an extremely rare and precious fatty acid, mainly extracted from the sacred fruit "sea buckthorn." It can deeply repair damaged mucous membranes and skin barriers, enhancing the skin's ability to retain moisture. Oil control and hydration: When the skin barrier is healthy, oil-water balance naturally recovers, allowing you to say goodbye to an oily T-zone even in the hot summer and radiate delicate, hydrated glow. 🔹 Omega-9 (Olive Oil) | Blocks free radicals, comprehensively fights early aging Benefits: High-purity Omega-9 fatty acids (such as top-grade olive oil ingredients) are rich in powerful antioxidants. Anti-aging defense: It acts like a shield, helping skin block free radical damage induced by summer UV rays, strengthening antioxidant capacity, preventing collagen loss, and comprehensively fighting dullness and early aging. Beauty Fish Oil Recommendation: WHC B-HADA® Beauty Fish Oil Want to supplement all four golden skincare fatty acids at once? WHC B-HADA® Beauty Fish Oil, a beauty formula specially created for women, contains an exclusive four-in-one Omega (3, 6, 7, 9) formula to help skin resist UV damage, reduce post-sun redness and dryness, and enhance the skin's ability to lock in moisture, keeping skin hydrated and plump for a long time. Clinical studies have shown that after 6 weeks of continuous use, skin redness decreased by 20% and brightness increased by 23.07%. In the hot summer, whether you are basking in the sun outdoors or in an air-conditioned room, this fish oil can help you maintain healthy and radiant skin.

Why Omega-3 and Vitamin D3 Are the Perfect Pair: The Science Behind Taking Them Together

In modern nutrition, we not only focus on "what to eat," but also on "how to combine." If you take fish oil, you must have heard of the combination of Omega-3 and Vitamin D3. These two are hailed as the "golden duo" in the nutrition world. What is the scientific basis for taking them together? And what synergistic effects do they have on health? 1. Fat-soluble properties: Perfect match for absorption rate Vitamin D3 is a fat-soluble vitamin, meaning it needs to be taken with fat to be effectively absorbed by the intestines. Scientific Principle: Fish oil is essentially a high-quality fatty acid (Omega-3). When Vitamin D3 is dissolved in fish oil, its bioavailability is greatly enhanced, ensuring that the nutrients you supplement are not wasted. 2. Powerful combination: Comprehensive anti-inflammatory and immune regulation Omega-3 and Vitamin D3 both play a role in regulating inflammatory responses in the human body, but through different pathways: Omega-3 (EPA/DHA): Mainly helps alleviate chronic inflammation in the body by reducing the production of pro-inflammatory molecules. Vitamin D3: Is a key switch that regulates the immune system, helping to prevent overactive immune responses. Synergistic effect: The combination of the two can more comprehensively protect cardiovascular health, alleviate joint discomfort, and enhance the body's defense against viruses. 3. "Double insurance" for mood and brain health Research shows that Omega-3 is an important component of brain cell membranes, and Vitamin D3 is involved in the synthesis of serotonin (the happiness hormone). Scientific findings: For those who want to improve mood swings, enhance concentration, or prevent cognitive decline, supplementing with both has a much better effect than taking only one. This is why many top fish oil products choose to add Vitamin D3. Recommended "lazy" supplement: WHC Unocardio Mini Fish Oil Want to simplify your daily health routine without compromising on quality? Don't let the fishy smell scare you away! 3 tips for choosing high-quality fish oil capsules

In recent years, with the thriving development of health consciousness, "fish oil capsules" have emerged as an essential nutritional cornerstone for modern families. Whether it's children in their developmental stages who need to boost brain health and protect their eyes, office workers under high pressure and prone to fatigue, or seniors seeking cardiovascular health, the Omega-3 (EPA and DHA) contained in fish oil is an indispensable key nutrient. However, with a myriad of choices on the market, how can one make a precise selection without wasting money? This article will feature a nutritionist personally explaining "3 non-fail indicators," teaching you how to avoid inferior products, and sharing a top-quality fish oil choice that will allow you to bid farewell to the dilemma of fishy odor! Why do some fish oil capsules have an unpleasant fishy smell? The main reason for the fishy smell in fish oil capsules is "oxidation." When fish oil capsules lack purity or come into contact with air or light during storage, the oil begins to turn rancid, producing an unpleasant odor. This not only affects the taste but oxidized fish oil capsules can also potentially have negative effects on the body. 3 Non-Fail Indicators for Choosing High-Quality Fish Oil Capsules Indicator One: Check if the "Omega-3 Purity" is above 85% When buying fish oil capsules, it's not about "how big the entire capsule is," but rather the purity of Omega-3. Low-purity fish oil (e.g., only 30% purity) means that the remaining 70% are impurities and saturated fats that the human body doesn't need, which is also the main source of the fishy smell. When choosing, it is recommended to select premium fish oil with an Omega-3 purity of 85% or higher. The higher the purity, the purer the ingredients, and naturally, there will be no unpleasant fishy aftertaste when burping. Indicator Two: Check the "Absorption Form"! rTG form is the top choice The molecular structures of fish oil capsules are mainly divided into three types: EE, TG, and rTG forms. Among them, the rTG form (re-esterified triglyceride type) is extracted using advanced technology, which not only successfully removes impurities and fishy odors, but also has the highest absorption rate in the body among the three! Although the extraction cost is higher, it ensures that the nutrients consumed are highly absorbed by the body. Indicator Three: Look for "Third-Party Authoritative Certification"! IFOS 5-star certification is the gold standard High-quality fish oil must pass stringent third-party testing. The most authoritative global fish oil testing organization is IFOS (International Fish Oil Standards). If a product obtains the IFOS 5-star highest certification, it means that its Omega-3 purity, freshness (peroxide value), heavy metals, and environmental toxin tests all meet the world's highest rigorous standards. High-Quality Fish Oil Capsules Recommended: WHC UnoCardio 1000 Mini Fish Oil If you are looking for a high-quality fish oil that meets all the above indicators, while also being "easy to swallow" and "odor-free," then this WHC UnoCardio 1000 MINI Fish Oil is definitely your best choice! Why is "UnoCardio 1000 Mini Fish Oil" favored by nutritionists? 95% Premium High-Purity Omega-3: Uses up to 95% premium purity rTG form fish oil capsules, perfectly removing impurities. Adults can take 2 capsules daily to meet their body's needs; adolescents in their developmental stage or under academic pressure can take 1 capsule daily for efficient brain boost, eye protection, and improved concentration. Natural Orange Flavor 🍊 Completely Eliminates Fishy Odor: Completely breaks the stereotype of traditional fish oil! It has a faint natural orange flavor, with absolutely no nauseating fishy smell, making it easily acceptable even to mothers, children, or elders who are sensitive to smells. Mini Size, Bid Farewell to Swallowing Fear: Suitable for adolescents or those who fear swallowing large capsules, no longer worry about choking.  Compound Formula with 500IU Vitamin D3: While boosting brain health and protecting eyes, it also comprehensively enhances immunity and combats fatigue, helping busy urban dwellers and mothers to reboot. Consecutively Awarded IFOS 5-Star Certification for Many Years: Each batch passes the world's top IFOS safety and purity certification, ensuring consistent quality.  When choosing fish oil, one should not only look at the price; purity, form, and certification are the guarantees of health. Choosing high-quality fish oil capsules can not only help you get rid of the unpleasant fishy smell but also genuinely enhance your and your family's health!
