What is CoQ10 and at what age do we need it?
CoQ10 is an organic substance present in every cell in our body.
As long as we’re young and in Good Health, our bodies produce CoQ10 and convert it into its active form, ubiquinol.
Studies show that Ubiquinol levels start to decline around the age of 30.
Can I obtain ubiquinol through a Healthy diet?
Ubiquinol is available in very small quantities in meat, fish and poultry and in even smaller quantities in nuts and green vegetables. In order to obtain the intake of 100 mg of Ubiquinol a day, you would have to eat:
- 3,4 kg of steak
- 5,75 kg of chicken
- 1,6 kg of peanuts
- 50 portions of spinach
- 120 tins of sardines
An enormous quantity, where a single softgel of Ubiquinol is sufficient.
It is worth noting that at least 1 in 10 Europeans take statins.
Statins are regularly prescribed as medication to reduce the levels of LDL (unhealthy) cholesterol. Unfortunately, statins can provoke a depletion of Coenzyme Q10. A daily supplement of Ubiquinol is a good way to fulfil your body’s CoQ10 needs.
Directions of use for adults
1 to 2 softgels per day, preferably taken with a meal. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of small children. Food supplements are not a replacement for a varied and balanced diet or healthy lifestyle.
Allergy information
UbiQor contains traces of soy proteins.
Other guidelines
Store in cool (max. 25°C) and dry conditions, away from direct light. Do not freeze
Ubiqor CoQ10 Reduced (Panthenol) Coenzyme Q10
14 years and older
1 capsule daily
Reduced Q10 (panthenol) is the active form, which can be directly absorbed by the body without conversion, and its bioavailability is 4-8 times higher than that of oxidized form (ubiquinone)! It is especially suitable for people over 50 years old with declining metabolism. Japan's Kaneka patented Ubiquinol™ technology ensures that each capsule contains 100mg, which can quickly boost cellular energy. Ordinary oxidized Q10 requires a large dose to achieve the same effect.
It is recommended to take medication at least 2 hours apart! Statins deplete the body's CoQ10. Replenishing with reduced form can reduce muscle soreness as a side effect, but taking them at the same time may affect the efficacy of the medication. Recommendation: Take medication in the morning → Replenish CoQ10 after lunch.
Boost egg mitochondrial energy! Women over 35 who are trying to conceive should take one capsule daily, starting 3 months before conception, to help improve egg quality.
Highly recommended for those who frequently stay up late or experience high stress! Reduced CoQ10 has a longer-lasting anti-fatigue effect than B vitamins, helps improve concentration, and preventative supplementation from age 25 can delay cell aging.
The ingredients are exactly the same! This is an individual pack for convenient, stand-alone enhancement of heart and brain health (such as when combined with Little Red Riding Hood fish oil), while the QuattroCardio® Blue Box integrates a three-effect formula, allowing for flexible selection according to needs.
Reduced Q10 is easily oxidized when exposed to air. Individually sealed PTP packaging is used to prevent moisture and deterioration. Repeated opening and closing of bottled packaging causes a sharp drop in efficacy.
